Instructions
Marinate the Steak: Start by placing the diced steak in a large mixing bowl. Add olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Use your hands or a spoon to toss the steak, ensuring each piece is evenly coated with the marinade. Allow the steak to marinate for 20-30 minutes at room temperature for the best flavor enhancement.
Sear the Steak: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Carefully add the marinated steak bites in a single layer in the skillet, being cautious not to overcrowd the pan (you may need to cook in batches). Sear the steak for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely browned and reach your preferred level of doneness. Once finished, remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.
Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet that you used for the steak, reduce the heat to medium. Add the unsalted butter and let it melt completely. Once melted, add the finely minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for approximately 1 minute, or until the garlic becomes fragrant. Be mindful to avoid burning the garlic, as it can turn bitter.
Add Fresh Herbs: Gently stir in the chopped rosemary and thyme into the bubbling garlic butter mixture. Allow the herbs to infuse their flavors for about 30 seconds while stirring continuously.
Combine Steak with Sauce: Return the seared steak bites to the skillet, and carefully toss them in the fragrant garlic herb butter until each bite is well coated. Allow them to cook together for an additional minute to ensure the steak is heated through and imbued with the delicious sauce.
Serve: Once cooked, remove the skillet from heat. Transfer the herb-infused steak bites to a serving platter, and finish by garnishing with a light sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
