Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). For a hassle-free cleanup, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top of it.
In a spacious mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. If you enjoy some spice, sprinkle in red pepper flakes according to your preference. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
Take the chicken wings and pat them dry using paper towels.
Add the prepared chicken wings into the bowl containing the garlic Parmesan mixture. Using tongs or your hands, toss the wings until they are fully coated in the flavorful mixture.
Carefully place the coated wings on the wire rack in a single layer, making sure they aren't touching.
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking process.
After baking, remove the wings from the oven and let them sit for a few minutes to rest and settle.
Just before serving, garnish the wings with additional grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
Notes
Serve with a creamy dipping sauce or crunchy vegetables for a delightful contrast.
